Phoenix pricked his harks, dark hazel eyes scanning in the distance as he cantered smoothly into the territory he only knew as the claiming grounds. Having just acquired a new territory of his own, namely the Apathetic Forest, he had decided to come here to perhaps recruit some dark equines to start a new herd to live in his lands. Leaning his weight back into his haunches, he raised his dial higher to the air, slowing down quickly enough, but not balanced enough, into a bouncy trot as he came closer to the heart of the lands. Pawing with the edge of his hoof as he halted at the dusty ground beneath him, he neighed savagely loudly to announce his presence, holding himself up as he stood there, awaiting the chance to perhaps meet with a dark mare or two. Pricking his harks, he listened coldly, for he would not let himself be surprised or shocked.

(hello again ) My daggars emmited a soft padding sound as they spread across the dirt, making a rhythm to dance to if you like. Now that would be a site, now wouldn't it? An equine dancing to the beat. I had been told I was a little beauty, but I didn't take it to heart. I thought I was a decent looking little demoness, but I wasn't one to flaunt, and wasn't one to be air-headed. My long ebony tassles bounced upon the thin hide of my nape, obsidian orbs flicking as they explored the area. What a strange place this was. This must be where the desperate mares come to search for their night and shining armor. A sharp chuckle vibrated from within...I wasn't here for love, but I was exploring this whole vast place called Milieu, for short. You know that they say...curiosity knows no bounds. But then, I heard a rather loud call echo through the trees. It caused my limbs to come to a rigid hault, my crown rising skyward in surprise. It smelt like a demon...but there was no feminine scent to accompany it. My brow arched in curiosity once again, wondering...was he gay? Ha...never seen a homosexual stallion before, much less a gay demon. Or maybe he was extremely bored? Now I would be passing up the opportunity of a lifetime if I didn't go and talk to him. Oh yeah...I was quite the 'sociable' demoness. I would walk right up to a stranger, depending on their alliance, and speak to them...light or dark I was always sarcastic, and okay...I was a little harsh to the lights. Rather, harsh was an understatement but cummon...I'm a dark. What would you expect?
My voice could be heard before I could be seen. Well dang, you don't have to shout. Like a looming shadow I stepped from the woods, my raven crown making itself visible before the rest of my body followed. I stopped a few short paces away from the stallion, giving him a cold stare into the depths of his eyes. I let a humorous, yet venomous smirk spread to my lips before I spoke in haunting tones. You know...last time I checked, it was the mares who wondered in here first, and the stallions came after them. I took a rather relaxing stance, not feeling at all intimidated by the dark brute. After all, why should I?
